About the Band and Bras on Haitians__________________________________________________

A long time friend when recently asked about his sister’s activities
replied  without hesitation, “Oh, she’s putting Bras on Haitians.
The term immediately stuck with me like a freckle on a red-head
and conjured up a host of wonderfully surreal images. Above all it
seemed like a perfect name for an album. Armed with this perfect
title I set about to compile a collection of songs to go with it. Offered
up for your listening enjoyment is a collection of songs I’ve composed
over the years. I refer to my mostly one man band as, Band of And
a name that cropped up one nite at a jam session. It really doesn’t
mean anything in particular but I like the name. Most of the songs are
created with a synthesizer one layer at a time, same with the vocals.
I’ve noted credit accordingly when friends  contribute to the project.
A heartfelt  thanks to; Beverly, Chris, Leslie, Cecelia, the Kirby's,
Domino, Robert, Tommy, Michael, Susan, Randy, Tony, Sarah, Jewels,
Paul, Craig, Markie Mark, Ron, Zak and the boys, JPGR, Scott, Sydney,
Bryan, Bob, Todd, Doug, Danny, Fritz the Giraffe, the Florida Knights,
Big G, and the cop who let me go. Special thanks to Mom and Dad.

Steve Sperry: Music - Lyrics - Vocals - Keyboards - Percussion - Electric Flute

A Tampa Bay native, Steve played in "sixties" garage bands. He joined the New Puddin Basin Group, a well received                             cover band that played the Florida circuit and some of the old Tampa landmark Night Clubs.                                                                   Playing off and on since he was in his twenties, Steve has kept his hand in the local music scene.
