A long time
friend when recently asked about his sister’s activities
replied without hesitation, “Oh, she’s
putting Bras on Haitians.
The term immediately stuck with me like a freckle on a red-head
and
conjured up a host of wonderfully surreal images. Above all it
seemed like a perfect name for an album. Armed with this
perfect
title I set about to compile a collection of songs to go with it. Offered
up for your listening enjoyment
is a collection of songs I’ve composed
over the years. I refer to my mostly one man band as, Band of And
a name that cropped up one nite at a jam session. It really doesn’t
mean anything in particular but
I like the name. Most of the songs are
created with a synthesizer one layer at a time, same with the vocals.
I’ve
noted credit accordingly when friends contribute to the project.

A Tampa Bay native, Steve played in "sixties"
garage bands. He joined the New Puddin Basin Group, a well received

Playing off and on since he was in his
twenties, Steve has kept his hand in the local music scene.
