I've been engaged in art and music from an early age, sustaining a creative energy
simply seems second nature to me. I'm influenced by just about everything I see
and experience, running the gamut from a heavily rusted chunk of useless machinery
to a beautiful storm infused summer sky. I do have a grab bag of favorites, in particular
the surrealist artists whose interpretation of the absurd deeply resonates with me.
I owe a lot to my long time friend and mentor Michael Braun who has and continues to
be a significant influence philosophically as well as visually.  I refer to my art form as
jazz painting, color and form construction, subconscious dreamscapes, or "cool stuff I
whip up on my computer". My preferred medium takes flight in the virtual world, a
medium I find to be exceptionally fluid, expressive, and accomodating. I'm often asked
"what is it, what is it supposed to be ?" My response is consistently what is it to you,
what do you see, what emotion does it spark in you?

After sitting and staring at my computer for a lengthy spell,
I take a break  and attempt to emulate a bobble-head doll.
Sometimes it serves to be a useful exercise, other times
it just makes me temporarily dizzy, which is OK too.
